My name is Mark D’Andrea. I am a senior and speak for myself and for the many seniors I have spoken with. We seniors are outraged by the pressures being put upon the Council of Aging board by the Town Administration to permanently house the Recreation Department at a town facility that is being held for the primary purpose of operating programs for seniors. The Council of Aging’s written mission and its written charge are specifically directed at advocating for seniors and not for housing other town departments.

I am a citizen and resident of Belmont for 85 years. I was a Town Meeting Member for 42 consecutive years during which time the Belmont Senior Center was born.
